I am an Aberdeen-based photographer exploring contemporary life across the North East of Scotland through street photography and social documentary. My work focuses on candid moments, people and places, using colour, texture and form to explore identity, document everyday experiences and capture the changing character of the communities around me. I am particularly interested in the relationship between people and their surroundings, finding visual interest in the ordinary and revealing the stories that unfold within familiar environments.
Alongside my personal projects, I have developed my practice through event photography, portraiture and professional commissions. Through exhibitions, publications and ongoing projects, I continue to explore my visual approach, creating work that reflects contemporary life and the people and places that shape our shared experience.
